Date Night: Miranda Lambert/Dierks Bentley Concert

Last week the Man and I went on an awesome date night to the Miranda Lambert/Dierks Bentley Concert in Baltimore. Thomas Rhett opened for them and he was pretty awesome as well.  The Man surprised me with tickets to the concert for Christmas. He even went as far as to book a babysitter for us too...I was even more shocked that he planned that far ahead if any of you know Josiah you know he is not a planner. My original plan was to go into a lot more detail as to our evening but the Man already blogged about it here and I think he did a great job.  So head over to his blog, follow it, love it and hear about even more about our lives you know you want to :)

Here are some photos from the night!

Miranda, Dierks & Thomas Rhett singing the last encore of the night in Raven's jerseys

Miranda Lambert

Miranda had a pink guitar reflected onto the stage, it matched the one she actually played

Dierks singing one of my favorite songs "Home"

This was one of maybe a handful of times that Jackson was left with a babysitter, so I was glad to be able to peek in on him in between performers

This was hanging on the back of the stall door at the arena and nothing more needs to be said about this!

Lunch Date

Today I was lucky enough to go on a lunch date with the Man and Jackson.  We went to Buffalo Wild Wings and then Ikea....I know we live on the edge :)  It was great getting out of the house and doing things we did before Jackson was here.  Jackson enjoyed eating some celery & a super plain boneless wing. I really hope that the Man and I can try and make it a weekly habit to get out of the house and go on a so called 'date'.  We don't have a lot of extra time together which makes doing this hard but even more important.

Skype Date

Sunday & Monday I was lucky enough to be able to have a Skype date with the Man.  Who would have thought hearing someone's voice and seeing their face could make someone so happy.  Before this Skype date I had not heard the Man's voice or saw his face since July for anyone that thinks that is not a long time it really is Now we didn't get to Skype all day or anything like that but we did get to talk for about a total of 2 hours.  And let me tell you it was a much needed 2 hours for both of us.  The Man and I both agree that the very rare Skype dates we do get to have are bittersweet...LOVE seeing and talking to each other but hate saying good bye again Lucky for us we both agree that the positive out weighs the negative big time.

So for this I am grateful for the very rare Skype dates I have and will get to have with the Man while he is gone.
